Homemade Immunity Shot

Homemade Immunity shot

During this winter season, I have been boosting myself with my own homemade immunity shot to stay healthy as the cold season has been among us.

How to make it:

1 whole orange squeezed (should provide enough for a shot…like the espresso cup I use in the photo above)

1 tsp of lemon juice or alternatively you can use lemon oil (3 drops)

1 drop of oregano oil (only one as this oil is so strong and you want the shot to taste good)

2 drops of ginger oil

1/4 tsp of turmeric powder (I sometimes don’t always put it in as if you put too much it can be really strong)

*I only use doTerra oils as they are approved to be used for internal use* other brands of oil may not be.

Now I am NOOOO expert but these are the known health benefits and why I take this shot once a week this winter.

Citrus (orange and lemon) is good for vitamin C boost.

Ginger and turmeric for antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Oregano oil supports a healthy immune system, digestion and respiratory function.

If you give it a go let me know… you can buy shots like this in stores and I’ve tried a few and love them so I thought I would try and make my own. Plus you know me… any excuse not to have to recycle another bottle and to DIY.
